Good morning, afternoon, or evening!

        So I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to decide how to introduce myself. I typed hundreds if not thousands of words and then consequently deleted hundreds if not thousands of words on my favorite color, animal, food, and movie. Yet none of them seemed to quite grasp who I am as a writer let alone a person.

I’m not a professional writer, and I can imagine you are thinking…

“Okay and we care why….”

        Well I’m a twenty, almost twenty-one-year-old, undergraduate student studying Clinical Psychology with a concentration in youth intervention and prevention programs. Which I’m sure sounds less than interesting to most of you out there but I assure you, my life is hardly ever boring.

        On that note, I’ve always had a fascination with the way numbers create a story in our lives. To the surprise of most people I’ve met, I’ve lived in FIVE different states, gone to approximately NINE different schools, traveled over 2560 miles and back without anyone knowing, been married for over ONE AND A HALF years, then been divorced for now TWO weeks, been stranded in a state about 930 miles from home, and have SEVEN tattoos. Still think I’m just a typical college student?

        I’m sure you are thinking one of two things at this point. Either A, she has to be lying… there’s no way she isn’t exaggerating at least one of those things. Or B, wow… just wow. If it’s the former, I assure you this is all true, what fun would a bio be if I could just make up whatever life I wish I had. Besides, I could not make up the things that happen in my life… they are just too outrageous, spontaneous, and sometimes downright crazy!

        But hey, don’t take it from me! I’m just the writer that got sick of hearing my friends say “you should write a book about that” so here I am. I guess all there is left to say is enjoy the ride because as gracefully as some people take the adversity that they face in life, I am definitely the Not So Graceful One.
